The meeting of September 19 was opened by President Ramesh Dontha leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Bob Mange gave the Invocation.
Secretary Jim Padgett introduced guests and visiting Rotarians.
Folsom Community Service Day took place on September 21. Many Rotarians participated in this event. All the community service day photos

Scott Moore asked Rotarians to sign up for September 28/29 Renaissance Faire. Need help for the last shift for both days.
Frank Ali, Scott Bailey, Scott Morre, and Jay Ailing asked for help with upcoming OctoberFest on October 27. Need help selling tickets, getting sponsors, and silent auction items.
President Ramesh talked about District 5180 Foundation Dinner on October 19 in Sacramento. The board decided to subsidize the tickets by 50% to encourage participation. After the club subsidy, individual tickets are $40 a piece. 13 members already signed up. The club bought 2 tables of 8 people each. So if 3 more club members signup, both the tables will be full.
President Ramesh inducted newest member Victor Tiscareno into the Rotary Club of Folsom. Victor works at First Citizen's Bank. Welcome to the Rotary, Victor.

Rich Rider introduced the speakers for the evening. Gina Simonsma & Anthony Cathey from the Sacramento Sheriff's Office who talked about 911 Communications.
September 19 meeting adjourned after the presentation.
