Rotary International has over 45,000 clubs worldwide. As a Rotarian, you are invited to go to any Rotary Club around the world and meet new friends. It is an exciting experience to go to a club in another country. Peter Evenhaus did so recently by visiting a Rotary Club in Brazil.
The "Two Truths and a Lie" members this week were Peter Evenhaus and Dawn Johnson.
Rob Ross levied fines.
Vicki Bencken introduced our speakers, Harsika from Folsom High, Shivesh from Vista Del Lago High, and Soleil from Folsom High. All three were students who attended Rotary Youth Leadership Awakening (RYLA) last June. Vicki described the RYLA program and each of the students talked about their take aways from the camp. For information about RYLA, go to
RYLA Program on the Rotary District 5180 website.

At our meeting on October 15 we will welcome our Rotary Youth Exchange student, Amélie!
The Rotary Club of Folsom is excited to welcome Amélie, our 2026–2027 Rotary Youth Exchange student from Switzerland, as our guest speaker.
Through Rotary Youth Exchange, young people gain confidence, independence, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships while experiencing a new culture. These experiences help shape tomorrow's leaders and foster greater understanding, goodwill, and peace around the world.
Come hear about Amélie's journey, what brought her to Folsom, and how Rotary Youth Exchange is creating lasting impact, one student at a time.
